I have noticed lately that my freedom of speech isn’t as free as some other people. During the Bush years I became accustomed to being called cracker, honky, white boy and other labels that I wasn’t supposed react to.

Various accredited scientific publications such as http://sci.tech-archive.net/Archive/sci.physics/2005-09/msg00108.html advocated an early demise to President Bush.
A higly placed Islamic source ran an article recruiting assassins to kill GWB. Though Muslims are radicals and extremists, they are covered by the liberal freedom of speech amendment so get a pass as well.
This next image calls for someone to stop the wearer of the T shirt before they kill GWB. I’m curious why their other murders

Now from what I can find out about this picture, the person holding the sign was greeted as a hero and treated very well indeed. I can find no evidence that the Secret Service investigated or that she/he was arrested. That’s the liberal freedom of speech amendment I think.
Now I wonder if I could have one of these that says Obama?
So there was this poll on Facebook for a short while that asked “Should Obama be killed?” It was shut down quickly, the Secret Service is tracking down the participants and the White House is calling for them to be put in jail.
I have to say that their choice of words for the poll weren’t the best. I think a question that asked “Should Obama be replaced my any legal means necessary?” would have been more appropriate. Another question might be “Would the US be better off if Obama were suddenly replaced as president?” Neither question implies any violence toward the Little Tramp and allows people to express their growing discontent with him and his failed regime.
But I have to wonder why my freedom of speech isn’t as good as a liberals freedom of speech? Did the liberals pass some sort of constitutional amendment that says they can say and do whatever they want with total immunity? As best as I can tell, none of the examples above ever caused more than a sophisticated giggle from a bunch of intellectual wannabees and certainly no Secret Service squadron was dispatched to bring the liberals to justice.
What if I make a bumper sticker with a noose on it, an Obama logo and it says support Barry. Will I get pulled over and told to remove it or will they take me straight to federal prison?
I know the sign above there the he/she claimed to be there to kill bush would land me in Gitmo if I changed it a bit.
I don’t get Islamo Fascist protection from the left so I couldn’t get away with the poster.
So my freedom of speech obviously isn’t as good as liberals. Did I miss something here? Did those guys go slip something in while I was off in the Navy or spending the next 20 plus years helping plan and bankrupt the Soviet Union? I don’t remember being to asked to vote on being less free than those so totally devoted to destroying our country.
Like I said, they chose their words poorly, however, how is the poll so very different from the poison, hate and vitriol which was constantly spewed by the left because GWB was in office. If they are going to set off on a witch hunt now, they should reopen the past and go after the people who wanted to kill President George Bush.
